MIKE
Some say they love photography; for me, it’s an obsession. It’s who I am. I thrive on the effort, the late nights, and creative collaboration that comes with the territory. And I love to have loads of fun along the way. Personal relationships and building trust are hugely important to me, so I travel frequently to meet with creatives face-to-face. I’m big on personal work and devote a truckload of energy to creating it because at the end of the day, you’ve got to have vision.
When the walls start closing in, rippin’ single track on my mountain bike or hitting the trail for a run, grounds me and clears my head. As does my wife. She is truly my best friend and better half. Being a dad to our son, Crew, is hands-down one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
For me, monotony kills the soul and I go insane if I don’t travel regularly. Since life’s always better with a cup of joe, I personally make it my mission to hunt down the best coffee shops and finest beans in each city I visit.
In the last decade, my career has taken me to some stunning locations around the globe, brought amazing people into my life, and provided some killer experiences I’ll not soon forget. Each project reaffirms my love for this craft, and it’s because of that I want to keep doing this job for a long, long time. So go ahead and call me obsessed. Call me, period. I’d love to chat.
THE BIZ
We are a tight-knit group of creative peeps with a passion for crafting sports, fitness, and healthy lifestyle images. We do the daily pixel pushing in Salt Lake City, Utah but working on location is our gig. We’ve built the relationships and connections to pull off the big productions but have the creativity necessary to work within smaller budgets. While we do wear a lot of black and obsess over the latest Apple inventions, we know what we do best and dig doing it.
